Hand selected from the Civilian Marksmanship Program in Anniston Alabama, this Winchester Repeating Arms (WRA) M1 Garand is a perfect rifle for anyone looking to own a piece of WWII history. This particular rifle was made in January of 1944 and has signs of arsenal refurbishment with a 1951 barrel. The stock has a Danish asset tag, indicating that this rifle may have been lent to Denmark after WWII under the Military Assistance Program. The Danish serial number stamped on the stock, however, does not match the receiver serial number.
With a perfect combination of history and overall condition, we'd put this rifle into a shooter-grade category that will be sure to put a smile on anyone's face at your next range day.
